Make It at Market - Series 2 - Episode 9
I was lucky enough to be chosen to appear on series 2 of BBC1’s Make It at Market. The series was filmed at beautiful Waterperry Gardens near Oxford.
During my time on the show I was set a variety of challenges and was paired up with my mentor, Tory McNidder from The Barmy Fox.
The premise of the show is:
‘Dom Chinea and a team of elite professional makers help talented amateur crafters turn their hobbies and skills into serious money and life-changing businesses.’
My episode synopsis:
‘Hand embroiderer Hannah from Staffordshire step into Dom’s gardens, hoping to turn her passion and skill into profitable a business.
For membership officer Hannah, anxiety and a lack of confidence have often held her back. Finding hand embroidery has changed her life for the better, can mentor Tory help her find her market?
With just two months to put her mentors advice into practice, can Hannah prove she’s got what it takes to build successful a business?’
My episode first aired on Thursday 7th December 2023 at 4.30pm then was repeated on Friday 8th December at 7.15am on BBC2. Both series 1 and 2 are available on iPlayer and will be available on BritBox early 2024.
